Waiver – Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the (Gee Sports Corporation) athletic sports program (Gee League Youth- Travel Flag Teams), related events, and activities, I, the undersigned, on behalf of myself, my child(ren), and any other adults or participants for whom I am the legal guardian, hereby acknowledge, appreciate, and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risks: I acknowledge that the activities involved in this program pose significant risks of injury and illness, including communicable diseases such as MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19, with the potential for severe consequences, including permanent paralysis and death. While specific rules, equipment, and personal discipline may mitigate these risks, I understand that they still exist for all participants, including children, parents, and adults.

Assumption of All Risks: I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, whether known or unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others. I accept full responsibility for my participation, as well as on behalf of my child(ren) and any other adults I represent.

Compliance with Terms and Conditions: I willingly agree to adhere to the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. In the event I observe any unusual and significant hazards during my presence or the presence of my child(ren) or any other adults during participation, I will promptly withdraw from participation and report the hazards to the nearest official.

Release and Hold Harmless: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, and on behalf of my child(ren) and any other adults for whom I am the legal guardian, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS (Gee Sports Corporation), its officers, officials, agents, employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the event (“RELEASEES”). This release pertains to ANY AND ALL INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND REALIZE THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY AND FREELY GIVING UP SIGNIFICANT RIGHTS BY AFFIXING MY SIGNATURE TO IT.
