03 3. Violations

Everything else below is enforced:

Traveling

Double dribble

3 seconds in the paint (on offense)

Backcourt violation

Goaltending (if the league decides to implement per season)

04 4. Pace-of-Play Rule

GEE2K is an up-tempo league. Teams must actively try to score.

No stalling / holding the ball.

Referee gives one warning, then begins a 10-second “must attempt a shot” count.

Failure = turnover.

05 5. Gameplay Rules

Game starts with jump ball

Possession arrow used for held balls

Subs only on dead balls

No hanging on the rim

Allowed only if preventing injury

06 6. Conduct & Sportsmanship

Fighting:

Automatic ejection + Kicked out of league – NOT THE PLACE FOR THAT

Arguing, disrespect, profanity toward refs or players:

Can result in tech or ejection

Referee decisions are final

Zero-tolerance policy for racism, harassment, or unsafe behavior

07 7. Playoff & Tiebreaker Rules

Tied playoff standings:

Decided by a 3-point shootout

Tied playoff game after 2OT (1v1):

Also decided by a 3-point shootout
